ARTISAN OUR PRIDE
An artisan is a skilled craft worker who makes or creates things by hand that may be functional or strictly decorative, for example furniture, decorative arts, sculptures, clothing, jewellery, household items and tools or even mechanical mechanisms such as the handmade clockwork movement of a watchmaker. Artisans practice a craft and may through experience and aptitude reach the expressive levels of an artist

India The Land Of Prayers
It matters not if it is the beginning of the day or the end. starting a new log or sitting for a test, whether we receive something or give something, whether we say goodbye or welcome, we pray at the beginning of each event. And if it’s a new venture then the prayer becomes ever more fervent.
So how can it be that we start a new endeavour (GloryHandicrafts) without saying our prayers! I would like to do so by sending my respects to all my teachers who loved me and supported me. They built me. Teachers who hated me (and believe me there were enough of those too) and broke me. They built me too. I would like to thank them all because in that making and unmaking, I found my World view.
As I begin a long un-chartered journey with GloryHandicrafts this year I will meet a lot of new challenges that will test my learning so far. But one learning that I hope never to let go of.

HISTORY OF GLORY HANDICRAFT
My Father Mr.Yunus started his own business in 1990 in the township of Sarai Tareen (Moradabad) in Uttar Pradesh. He specializes in making jewelry and home decor items out of horn, bone, resin and brass and was mentored in this craft by his father.
My Father Yunus started his business from scratch, toiling to build its reputation for good craftsmanship. He would spend his own money sending samples to vendors but orders were hard to come by. Furthermore, working with horn and bone requires a skill not many possess, hence finding good artisans to work for him was an uphill task. Not ready to give up, Yunus pursued litigation against the defaulter. However, when a counter suit was filed, he was forced to withdraw his lawsuit due to lack of funds.
In 2011 I took the decision to start my own export called name Glory Handicrafts. Our family has been in this field for the last three generation. we have great experience in this field. Growing up in a family of craftsmen, i was quick to pick up the trade.
I am new generation and working for needy people. I want to become a successful business man. And want to give others a hope and dreams. I also want to help artisans who work for him to start their own businesses. And want to make a big difference. In my town the artisan’s condition is not fine. They worked hard but the benefit does not reach the artisans. And education condition is not really good, our journey is not easy and everyone has problems in their life and business but I know that we have overcome every problem only through faith and prayers, I am enjoying what I am doing, it make a difference. And I am looking for new opportunities to help establish artisan’s identity and value of their work. Colorful life for other brings me the most joy in my life and education for every child.
In my town there are many women who want to work but they don’t know how to work. We want to start our jewelry making classes. We need more support from you.
I want to thank our all customer because their purchase is serving thousand of people who might not but have food or education. We are happy that people like our work and keep buying it, because the shopper are creating change for us and our community.
Thank you for visiting us. We look forward to working with you in this wonderful endeavor.
Together we can make the difference.
Thank you,
Salman, Owner
